Talk at DAZ-Glashaus: 03.07.2019, 7 pm
The work of f m b architects BDA is characterised by complexity: residential buildings, shop interiors, schools, conversions and more. The latest project – the Greiner headquarters in Pleidelsheim – was honoured
with the Hugo-Häring Award 2017 of the BDA Baden-Württemberg.
The projects of the Stuttgart based architects Norman Binder and Andreas-
Thomas Mayer are characterised by their precision from urban planning to
the smallest detail: Set accurately in the urban space, the geometrically
precise structures are impressively planned and executed, from the
materials to their joining down to the smallest detail.
On July 3, Binder and Mayer talk to Elina Potratz (editor of der architekt) about the work of their office and the significance of type, topos and tectonics. Snacks and drinks are provided.
